What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Parts Counterperson position at Parts City - Linn Auto Parts?
Seeking a full time individual for our fast growing retail auto parts store! We offer a variety of items, including car/truck parts, tools, custom hydraulic hoses, ATV/lawn and garden parts, and more!
Daily responsibilities would include:
- Assisting customers in store or on the phone with their needs
- Using the computer or catalogs to both look up parts and ring out customers
- Putting away daily stock orders, and restocking shelves from backroom stock throughout the day
- Other duties such as cleaning, trash, etc
The ideal candidate would be comfortable using a computer for most sales functions. They would also ideally be comfortable standing or walking most of the day, and able to lift a variety of items. Previous retail or automotive experience is a must. This industry contains a variety of needs and you never know what is going to walk in the door. Nothing we can't handle, but we would love to find someone to help us out!
Having a clean driving record is a must as you will be asked to take deliveries throughout the day.
Schedule we are looking to fill varies but could include anytime Monday through Friday from 6:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. Some weekends may be required based on the needs of the store.
