Responsibilities
- Verify invoices and help the parts drivers in the morning load the trucks
- Return parts, file damage claims and complete core credits
- Take return parts back to each stock room, ensuring it has a location
- Move cores to the cores area
- Assist customers who are looking for a credit of a returned part
- File damage claims & ensure we received the money back from the manufacture
- Pull obsolete parts to send back to manufacture or scrap them
- Prepare shipments for cores or returns
- Cleaning up the cardboard & the work area and ensuring the walkway is clean and free of debris
- Handling cores with customers making sure they are returned correctly
- Maintain professional appearance
- Other tasks as assigned by the Wholesale Parts Director, or other managers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Tech savvy and comfortable with computers
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department preferred
- Great work ethic with and ability to work on a team
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Current and valid driver's license
