Service Technician - Canton

Partridge Propane is a locally owned and operated company looking for a Fulltime Installation and Service Technician for our Central Mississippi based company. We are looking for an experienced Service Technician.

Primary Job Duties:

• - Installs, removes, repairs and maintains tanks, appliances, and propane systems.
• - Performs outside sales including gathering leads
• - Performs site surveys and compiles quotes.
• - Completes timely, safe and efficient installs and new customer gas checks.
• - Performs gas turn-ons and disconnects.
• - Completion of all company and state required paperwork in a timely manner.
• - Safely operate a company service vehicle.
• - Inspect vehicles and notify Fleet Mechanic of any equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• - Communicate effectively with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• - Meet all DOT requirements.
• - This position may require working after hours or weekends as needed.
• - Additional duty assignments as needed.

Education and physical requirements:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, confidentiality, dependability, and flexibility
• along with initiative and motivation to organize and complete tasks and meet deadlines, acting independently and with minimum supervision and direction.
• - Must be 25 years old or older
• - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in all weather
• - Must have a willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
• - Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• - Must have a clean driving record.
• - Ability to climb ladders, access attics, work in attics, access and work under houses.
• - Must have a valid Mississippi class A or B CDL with a current Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
