Partnership is seeking a compassionate, Domestic Violence Case Manager to join our team! As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in the lives of clients by providing case management services and assisting them through a difficult time in their life.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred OR an Associates with 2-3 yrs experience OR high school diploma with 4 yrs experience required
- 1 yr. experience in a social work/human services setting
- 1 yr. of case mgmt. experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Supportive Services Knowledge
- Trauma Informed Care Trained
- Rehousing services knowledge or experience
Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the Lead Shelter Case Manager (LSCM), the Domestic Violence Case Manager provides case management/advocacy services in the Domestic Violence Shelter to assist clients who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. The Domestic Violence Case Manager performs all related activities including intake and assessment for shelter housing, assisting the client in setting goals to be completed during their shelter experience, providing support groups and life skills, linking with appropriate agency and community resources, advocating on the victim’s behalf, maintaining a shelter environment that is conducive to client success, and providing rapid rehousing housing services.
