Partners with Families & Children (Partners) prevents, interrupts and repairs cycles of abuse and neglect within families. We are a nonprofit that has been around for 36 years providing exemplary programs for families and an encouraging and fulfilling work environment for staff.

Summary: This is a 36 hour per week professional position. Lead Addiction Counselor or SUD Professional Lead will work with parents working to reunite with their children. The programs offered at Partners with Families and Children (PFC) provide specialized treatment for men and women. The SUD Professional Lead is responsible to provide quality assessment and placement recommendations, treatment services to individuals with substance use disorders, using evidence-based and promising practices, effectively meeting the need of PFC's clientele, and documenting treatment and case management service provision in a manner pursuant with all WAC requirements.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
Education/Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
- An AA in Addictions Counseling,
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in a Social Science field to include the required classes in Addictions counseling
- a minimum of Three (3) years or more paid experience as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) Lead is required.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates/Licenses: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be certified as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) by the Washington State Department of Health.

Pay Range:
- SUDP: $32.08 - $39.00 per hour.
