Summary / Objective

Responsible but not limited to ensuring the safety of staff, clients and guests, by inspecting site conditions, equipment and supplies for the day-to-day operation of both Custodial and Setup Services. Coordinates with Management and Supervisors daily to ensure accuracy and completion of assignments rendered. Follow up and follow through to ensure we meet the company’s and client’s performance expectations. Monitors shift supervisors to confirm that schedules, maintenance, daily reports and timelines are met. Observe and document employee’s performances for evaluations. Assist Director with requested projects and / or administrative duties, via Client department meetings, payroll, employee translations, etc. Reports directly to Site Operations Director and is second in command.

Essential Functions under the Guidance of the Site Director :

  • Responsible for reporting any issues or incidents (written format) to the Site Operational Director.
  • Monitors Timecards for proper attendance, clock in and outs and overtime.
  • Assist the Director in all payroll and special billing.
  • Evaluate the performance and training of all employees under jurisdiction (new and existing).
  • Event and Capital Projects – Liaison and Coordination of Special Request.
  • Inspects assigned areas to ensure work is being carried out in a proper and timely manner.
  • Prepares Center and Villa Event packets and Schedules before distribution.
  • Monitors Supervisors Daily Reports for missed and / or completed services, incidents or employee requests.
  • Submits Weekly Report recapturing past week and identifying upcoming week to Site Director.
  • Communication : Listens to the Coordinators and Management, and communicates professionally.
  • Must be present for weekly Events and monthly capital project meetings.
  • Conduct weekly Custodial Service meetings with Supervisors / leads, to recap events.
  • Monitors – Vacations, Leave of Absence and call-outs, ensures proper coverage for all positions.
  • Must be Flexible with hours and locations, as we service both Center and Villa Sites.
  • Monitors the condition of employees' uniforms, closets and carts, to ensure compliance.
  • Assist the Site Director with Special Projects and day-to-day operations, as required.
  • Attends to all client needs via emails, phone calls and walkthroughs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of all employees for quarterly evaluations.
  • Employee Translations – written and verbal information provided for proper documentation.
  • Maintains accurate accounts of vehicle and equipment condition and schedules maintenance

  • Must be knowledgeable of all sites and aspects of the operation, both Setup and Custodial.
  • Professional Appearance and Demeanor
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced High Volume Call Center
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication; Clear and proficient with two-way communication :
  • intelligent and Articulate individuals who can coexist at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with subordinates, peers and management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a Team Player and work within a unit.
  • Ability to lead by example, motivate others and delegate when necessary.
  • Knowledge of work orders, diagrams, equipment and furnishings utilized in Setup and Custodial.
  • Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets, storage areas, supplies utilized, facility specifications.
  • Knowledgeable - to train and operate all equipment to ensure adequate performance.
  • Flexibility in work hours and / or site to accommodate early morning, late night and weekends.
  • Monitor emails and calls to ensure safety compliance, work request and proper coverage.
  • Knowledge of Company Handbook of Employee Policies and Procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of Clients expected Scope of Work, frequencies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of Payroll Budgets, Processing, Billing Accountability and Submission.
  • High sense of Urgency and the ability to properly prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to oversee and manage complete operation, during Directors Absence.
  • Must have Valid California Driver’s License with no more than two points.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, plus email.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both written and orally.
  • Education and Work Experience

    Preferably a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and managerial experience, preferably in the Janitorial, Events and / or Facilities Field
