Forklift Operator

Position: Project based Forklift Operator
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE
Hours: 1st Shift: 6:00AM -2:30 PM
Location: Kansas City, MO 64161

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely in a freezer/cold storage environment
• Downstack and separate pallets accurately and efficiently
• Move pallets and materials to designated storage or staging areas
• Inspect pallets for damage and ensure product stability
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the freezer area
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines
• Perform routine equipment checks before and after shifts
• Work in fast-paced, cold-temperature conditions while meeting productivity standards
  

Requirements:

• up to 1yr of previous forklift operating experience required
• Ability to work in freezer/cold storage temperatures for extended periods
• Ability to lift, stack, and move heavy materials safely
• Experience working in a production environment is a plus!
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
