Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician Lead to join our production team. This role is responsible for environmental cleaning and in-depth equipment sanitation to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of food products. You’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, safely, and up to industry standards.
Hours
4:00AM - 12:30PM
Monday - Friday
Pay
$21.00 - $24.00
Job Duties
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment using COP and CIP systems.
- Verify cleaning effectiveness and monitor/test chemical concentrations.
- Maintain sanitation logs, CIP charts, and required documentation.
- Manage sanitation supply inventory and utilize bioluminescence technology for system checks.
- Perform cleaning tasks per the Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Troubleshoot sanitation equipment as needed.
- Train new associates on sanitation procedures.
- Maintain safe and orderly work areas following GMP and safety guidelines.
- Operate SCADA systems and complete related paperwork.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by lead personnel.
- Cross-train in other plant areas as required, including valve and pump preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to train team members on sanitation/environmental operations.
- Desire and ability to work in a self-directed team environment.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems (training provided if necessary).
- Knowledge of and ability to follow safety, GMP, and food safety guidelines.
- Understanding of proper machine operation and adjustment procedures.
- Ability to contribute to production improvements, team initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
