Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues such as conveyor systems, motors, and pumps.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with external contractors when necessary.
- Utilize CMMS software to track maintenance activities and update records accordingly.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and read technical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics.
- Experience with welding techniques to perform repairs on metal components.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to supervise maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in customer service to interact with internal stakeholders effectively.
