Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Full time Medical Assistant to join our team! We are a busy Internal Medicine practice in the North Dade area with 2 providers, and we work with patients in the office and long term care facility settings.

- Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and perform patient intake procedures accurately.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate to support clinical assessments.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems by documenting patient interactions, updating records, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate referrals while maintaining clear communication with patients and providers.
- Support clinical staff with basic medical procedures including medication administration, specimen collection, EKGs, and injectable administration.
- Maintain a clean and organized desk area, manage phone calls, handle patient inquiries, and process administrative paperwork efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required; excellent communication skills in both languages are essential.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is necessary.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is helpful for success in this role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- 3 years of previous experience in phlebotomy and lab processing is necessary.
- A strong work ethic and being a team player is a must.

Job Type: part-time Monday through Friday 8am-1pm
