Our national law firm client is seeking a Senior Corporate & M&A Attorney to join its Scottsdale office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional attorney who wants to lead sophisticated business matters, work directly with clients, and continue building a long-term corporate practice.
The role is ideal for someone with a strong mergers and acquisitions background who is comfortable advising businesses across a broad range of corporate and commercial issues.
Role Overview
The attorney will handle a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Entity formation and corporate governance
- Operating and organizational agreements
- Purchase and sale agreements
- Supply and commercial contracts
- Compliance-related corporate documents
- General corporate counseling
- Negotiation of strategic business transactions
The attorney will also work directly with clients throughout the transaction lifecycle and serve as a trusted advisor on business and legal issues.
Candidate Profile
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- 10 years of corporate transactional experience
- Significant mergers and acquisitions experience
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience with corporate governance and general business counseling
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative
- Business development experience is a strong plus
