We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a wide variety of general maintenance, repair, and light construction tasks in both commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently or as part of a small team.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*
· Perform general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical.
· Troubleshoot and repair building systems as needed.
· Assist with small remodeling and tenant improvement projects.
· Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
· Complete work orders and service requests in a timely, professional manner.
· Transport, load, and unload materials as required.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Interact with clients, tenants, and team members with excellent customer service.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Strong knowledge of general building repairs and maintenance.
· Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and simple blueprints.
· Proficiency with hand and power tools.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 2 years of handyman, facilities maintenance, or construction experience (commercial or residential).
