Position summary
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Medical Assistant to join our growing team.
As a Medical Assistant, you play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
We are seeking full-time, qualified Pediatric Medical Assistants who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of patients and families. The ideal candidates are compassionate, team-oriented, and dedicated to contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment. Strong clinical skills with excellent customer service, clear communication, and proficient computer skills including electronic medical record systems are essential for this role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Assist healthcare providers in various clinical and administrative tasks.
· Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
· Take and record accurate vital signs.
· Administering routine vaccinations and some antibiotic injections,
· Performing in-office lab tests and procedures such as rapid strep tests, urinalysis tests, hemoglobin tests, and administering nebulizer treatments
· Initiate patient telehealth visits.
· Maintain a clean and organized medical workspace.
· Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
-Keeping exam rooms stocked and ready for patients
