Our non-profit early childhood center is seeking a Lead NC Pre-K Teacher who believes in the power of play, purpose, and partnerships with families.

- Lead a high-quality NC Pre-K classroom aligned with state standards
- Create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
- Support school readiness through intentional teaching and assessment
- Model professionalism, leadership, and a love for learning
What You'll Bring
All NC Pre-K Lead Teachers must hold or be actively working toward a North Carolina Birth through Kindergarten (BK) license (Initial or Continuing 5-Year) or a Preschool Add-On License.
Candidates working toward licensure must meet one of the following:
- NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry BK License, or
- NC K–6 License with a Provisional Preschool Add-On License, or
- Another state's license with a NC Provisional BK License, or
- A BA/BS degree in one of the following (with eligibility for NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License):
- Birth through Kindergarten Education
- Early Childhood Education
- Child Development or Child & Family Development
- Child and Family Studies
- Human Development & Family Studies
- Human Growth & Development
- Psychology or a related ECE field
