Qualifications
- Experience in Social Work and Family Services, with the ability to support families facing housing instability and related challenges.
- Background in Case Management and Case Management Services, including assessment, goal setting, resource coordination, and progress monitoring.
- Knowledge of Foster Care or similar child- and family-focused systems, and comfort collaborating with child welfare and community agencies.
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain professional boundaries.
- Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of community resources, public benefits, and housing-related programs in Colorado or willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and case management or database systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Colorado Springs, CO, and meet any applicable background check or clearance requirements.
