Junior Designer

Houston Design Center

Support Designers & DC Manager; assist with selections; meet with clients; prepare documents for construction; communicate with vendors; maintain Design Center samples/materials. Interior Design degree preferred, 2-3 years' experience in a builder design center or design firm; read architectural plans, self-motivated, multi-tasker, strong communication skills. Must be proficient in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and maintaining samples and products in the Design Center
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings, design boards, and presentations
• Supporting material selection for spec homes
• Aiding in project documentation and organization
• Providing direct assistance to designers on active projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to engage in all aspects of the design process
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
