The Data Entry Clerk will work to ensure administrative and medical data is recorded and maintained accurately for use throughout organization. Responsibilities include:

The Data Entry Clerk will work to ensure administrative and medical data is recorded and maintained accurately for use throughout organization. Responsibilities include:
- Navigating multiple electronic medical records to identify historical lab and radiology results.
- Responsible for pulling, filing, transferring, retrieving, creating, and scanning clinical and medical records information.
- Ensures clinical information is scanned and entered at required timeframes/benchmarks to ensure proper patient care can be delivered.
- Transferring historical medical records including by not limited to referral reports, laboratory reports, radiology reports, and hospital reports.
- Responds to information requests from staff and providers in timely manner.
- Protects the confidentiality of patients and their records at all times by complying with all HIPAA rules and the BRH patient confidentiality policy.
- Manual data entry for health care information into an electronic medical records system.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent organizational skillset including attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to follow established guidelines for assessing compliance with operational procedures and ensuring desired outcomes.
