We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Operations to lead and unify all operational functions across the organization.
Position Overview
The Vice President of Operations is a key executive leader responsible for the performance, alignment, and continuous improvement of all operational functions across Partners Dental Solutions.
This role owns the end-to-end operation of the business, ensuring seamless execution from case intake through design, production, and final delivery, while maintaining a high standard of client experience.
The Vice President of Operations leads the organization through a team of General Managers responsible for core areas of the business, including 3D operations, lab production, and client and brand experience. Through this structure, the role ensures alignment, accountability, and consistent execution across all departments.
This leader translates executive vision into operational execution, builds scalable systems, and drives performance across the organization. The ideal candidate is both highly strategic and deeply operational, capable of leading leaders, optimizing workflows, and ensuring accountability at every level.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Strategy
- Own and execute the overall operations strategy, aligning all functions with company goals
- Partner with executive leadership to define and implement growth and scalability initiatives
- Translate high-level strategy into clear, measurable plans across all departments
- Drive alignment across the organization to ensure a seamless end-to-end workflow and customer experience
- Ensure operational decisions are executed consistently across all areas of the business
Department Oversight
- Lead and develop General Managers responsible for core operational areas of the business
- Hold full accountability for performance, execution, and alignment across all teams
- Establish clear expectations, reporting structures, and performance standards
- Ensure strong coordination across design, production, and client-facing functions
- Drive cross-functional accountability and eliminate silos
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Own company-wide operational KPIs with full accountability for results
- Drive daily execution through clear structure, reporting, and leadership discipline
- Identify bottlenecks across the business and implement scalable solutions
- Ensure production output, turnaround times, and service levels meet company expectations
- Maintain visibility into performance across all functions and take action quickly when off track
Quality, Efficiency & Customer Experience
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met across design, production, and final delivery
- Align operational capacity with client demand and expectations
- Drive improvements that increase efficiency, reduce rework, and improve turnaround time
- Ensure consistency in communication, delivery, and overall client experience
- Hold teams accountable to the company’s five promises in day-to-day execution
People Leadership & Culture
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team across all operational areas
- Develop General Managers and ensure strong leadership at every level
- Set clear expectations for ownership, accountability, and performance
- Address performance gaps quickly and directly
- Support long-term team development and succession planning
Reporting & Executive Collaboration
- Provide clear, data-driven updates on operational performance, risks, and priorities
- Use reporting and dashboards to drive decisions and accountability
- Act as a key partner in decisions related to growth, structure, and operational investment
- Ensure alignment between executive direction and day-to-day execution
Minimum Experience
- 10–15 years of operations leadership experience, with at least 5–7 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven experience overseeing multiple departments, including both production/manufacturing and client-facing teams.
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations, improving efficiency, and driving measurable business outcomes.
- Experience leading leaders (managing managers) in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong experience with KPI development, operational reporting, and performance management.
Preferred Competencies
- Strong operational leadership experience with a focus on performance, accountability, and execution
- Ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes and business growth
- Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven track record of driving process improvement and operational discipline
- Clear, direct communicator with strong decision-making skills
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level
- Experience in manufacturing or healthcare environments is a plus
