- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental wellness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care and clinic operations using practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic.
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry and related fields through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with the ability to practice general dentistry.
- Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings; experience with dental fabrication is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical documentation practices.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
- Ability to perform dental procedures including root canal therapy, extractions, and other restorative treatments.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
