Summary for the Commercial Banker III:
- Commercial Banking Business development role
- Manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking relationships
- Generate loan and deposit balance growth through opportunities with existing customers, prospective customers and referral generation from COI network
Job Requirements for the Commercial Banker III:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
- Ten or more years of experience as a Commercial Banker
- The ability to develop and manage a portfolio of up to $100MM
- Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of lending services and related areas.
- Good managerial, communication and business development skills.
Specific Job Functions for the Commercial Banker III:
- Analyze the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.
- Negotiate credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications.
- Develop and maintain interest rate structure to be consistent with financial institution policies and procedures, and to be competitive with current market rates.
- Evaluate potential and existing customer loan requests and makes loan recommendations to leadership.
- Review new laws and regulations that influence business lending within Partners Bank and makes recommendations to leadership as necessary.
- Consistently generate new business opportunities in both loan and deposits.
- Make policy and procedure recommendations as needed.
- Consistent and regular Community involvement to promote bank brand, products and services, etc. i.e.: Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
