Type: 18 Months Contract (Full Time Conversion preferred if interested)


Description:


We are working closely with the “Senior Director of PMO” of a major multi-hospital health system based in Philadelphia, PA 19104. Our client is seeking an experienced Healthcare Program / Project Manager to lead the Data & Analytics workstream for a large-scale Epic EMR consolidation initiative.


This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing the transition of data extracts, reporting, analytics platforms, and downstream consuming systems to ensure uninterrupted business operations throughout the consolidation.


The Program Manager will oversee Epic data sources and Cogito reporting solutions, enterprise data platforms, operational and analytic data feeds, and downstream consumers across clinical, operational, financial, quality, research, and vendor environments. This individual will drive governance, validation, cutover readiness, stabilization activities, and executive communications while ensuring compliance with privacy and security requirements.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the integrated Data & Analytics program plan, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and change management.
  • Maintain the authoritative inventory of data feeds, extracts, reporting assets, downstream consumers, ownership, PHI classification, and service level requirements.
  • Coordinate source-to-target mapping, KPI alignment, data contracts, and downstream system readiness activities.
  • Drive data reconciliation, validation, testing, and business sign-off processes for critical feeds, reports, and analytics outputs.
  • Lead cutover planning, mock cutovers, readiness assessments, go/no-go decisions, stabilization support, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and manage runbooks, rollback procedures, monitoring, alerting, and stabilization exit criteria.
  • Ensure HIPAA, PHI, privacy, and security controls are incorporated throughout program delivery.
  • Coordinate across business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership, providing clear status reporting and escalation management.



Required Qualifications:


  • 5 years of program or project management experience leading complex healthcare data, analytics, integration, or EMR initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementations, migrations, mergers, or consolidations.
  • Familiarity with Epic Cogito reporting and analytics tools, including Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, and Reporting Workbench.
  • Working knowledge of data warehouses, lakehouses, ETL/ELT processes, BI/reporting platforms, and enterprise analytics environments.
  • Experience managing data feeds and integrations, including file-based transfers, SFTP, APIs, HL7, and FHIR interfaces.
  • Proven success leading cutover planning, stabilization support, and post-go-live issue management.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, PHI, privacy, and security requirements.
  • Exceptional program management, stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
