Our client is seeking a Product Manager I who will be responsible for identifying and creating product requirements and taking ownership from initial concept through delivery.

The Product Manager, Digital Product Management is responsible for the continuous improvement and evolution of the digital customer experience, focusing on small and mid-market segments. This individual will act as a proactive leader, driving collaboration across internal and external teams to design, develop, and execute a roadmap that supports business goals while delivering an exceptional digital experience. The key to this role is to enhance the digital experience to meet the evolving needs of existing and new customers.

The Product Manager will also assist in the management of the digital product roadmap, partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure a streamlined end-to-end experience that aligns with business strategy and digital best practices.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is results-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable managing complex cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Accountabilities: Roadmap Ownership & Strategy :

  • Maintain and communicate the digital product roadmap in alignment with business priorities and strategic goals including, enhancement requests from stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
  • Act as the key point of contact for roadmap updates and strategic planning discussions.

Backlog Prioritization & Delivery:

  • Own backlog prioritization, ensuring the delivery of high-value features and functionality.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations.
  • Establish and maintain a structured process for capturing, documenting, and evaluating feedback and feature requests, ensuring a well-organized and continuously evolving backlog that reflects business needs and customer insights.

Agile Leadership & Development:

  • Lead the process of defining digital product requirements and participate in solution design sessions to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to identify system impacts and technical dependencies.
  • Support refinement activities, UX reviews, development demos, and program calls, serving as the primary representative for the digital product.
  • Set delivery goal posts in collaboration with program management and cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with UX, content, analytics, digital sales, marketing, technology, and brand teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of the roadmap, while fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Partner with key system teams and stakeholders to identify dependencies and impacts, ensuring backend processes are aligned to support a seamless and effective customer experience.

Customer-Centric Focus:

  • Leverage analytics and customer research to identify pain points and areas of opportunity.
  • Partners with UX and Content teams to ensure digital experiences are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with customer needs and expectations.

Technical Expertise & Product Support:

  • Collaborate with technology architects to ensure scalable, sustainable solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn and understand technical product areas and identify impacts across digital ecosystems is strongly preferred.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

  • Provide clear and concise updates on feature development, release timelines, and performance metrics to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop presentations and reports to communicate the impact of digital initiatives on business goals.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to understand existing processes and how they will impact the end customers and ability to create new approaches.
  • Ability to understand customer behavior and ability to translate that into product requirements.
  • Ability to dive deep into technical considerations as needed.
  • Ability to work closely with large organizations and cross-functional teams.
  • 0-3 years of experience needed.
  • In office requirements are 4 business days per work week and 1 optional day remote.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings or nights as needed to support offshore teams or critical initiatives.
