Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing support to the Supervisor and peers of a mental health peer support center.
- Demonstrates and reflects a commitment to the mission and values of Milestone by serving others with respect, dignity and compassion.
- Utilizes Sanctuary Model's shared values, the Seven Commitments and tools to conduct daily tasks.
- Acting as a receptionist or supervising volunteers to ensure that only members are permitted to stay in the center and keeping attendance records, issuing membership cards and conducting consumer surveys.
- Responsible for assisting with food bank orders-pick-up and distribution (as needed)
- Responsible for reporting crisis or conflict situations to the Chain of Hope Supervisor.
- Responsible for promoting peer support, self-help, empowerment, and consumer
- Responsible to do clerical work as needed.

Qualifications
- High School Graduate with 2 or more years' experience in social services and a basic understanding of mental health issues.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Act 33 and 34 clearances and FBI clearance, if applicable
