How You Will Make an Impact:
We are looking for a Deli Delivery Driver for our James Center location. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of deli orders to customers, while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.
Some typical tasks would be:
- Collect deli orders from the kitchen or deli counter, ensuring all items are correctly packed and match the customer's order.
- Deliver deli orders to customers in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns during deliveries and handle any delivery issues or discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Report any customer feedback or complaints to the deli manager.
- Maintain an organized delivery schedule to ensure all orders are delivered within the designated time window.
- Communicate with the deli regarding any delays or changes in delivery times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and submit daily delivery logs or reports to the deli management team.
- Assist with packaging orders when needed during peak times.
- Monitor delivery supplies such as delivery bags, coolers, and equipment and report any shortages or replenishment needs to the deli supervisor.
- Market your zone by handing out flyers and cards to nearby businesses during your delivery drop-offs.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Must be 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Experience using navigational tools (MapQuest, Google Maps, etc.)
