Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Parsons House. This PRN role based in La Porte, TX plays a vital part in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities of an Assisted Living Caregiver
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and escorting.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being through patient observation and reporting.
- Support residents during meals and engage them in social activities.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to hygiene standards.
- Respond promptly to residents’ needs and emergencies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Uphold residents’ dignity and promote a respectful community atmosphere
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or senior care environments.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident confidentiality.
- Physical ability to assist residents with mobility needs.
- Prior experience with caregiving in senior living strongly preferred.
