In this role you will get to maintain version control of the Facility Requirements Document (FRD) and Hybrid Facility Criteria updates as well as ensure traceability of requirements and updates using configuration management tools. What You'll Be Doing: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and program requirements. Record and manage changes to technical documentation, ensuring updates are accurately incorporated and documented. Develop and maintain a Configuration Management Plan to support the Sentinel Program. Provide configuration management reports and recommendations for design optimization. Support technical interchange meetings (TIMs) by ensuring all updates and decisions are properly documented and integrated into the configuration management system. Ensuring all configuration updates and documentation are accurate and complete. Address logistical or technical challenges related to configuration management What Required Skills You'll Bring: Fields such as engineering, project management, business administration, or a related technical discipline is preferred. 5 years of experience in configuration management for defense programs or related industries. Experience with tools such as IBM Rational DOORS, Windchill, or similar configuration management software. Ability to manage multiple configuration baselines and ensure consistency across technical documentation. Ability to clearly document configuration changes, decisions, and updates. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello). Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS, Windchill). Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx) for remote or hybrid collaboration What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience working in environments that involve systems engineering, product development, or government contracts is a plus. Sentinel or ICBM modernization experience preferred Security Clearance Requirement: An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
