Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support the design, development, integration, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems while solving challenging technical problems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working on complex technical problems and architecting highly innovative system‑level solutions.
• Applying systems engineering experience to analyze and assess system requirements, processes, interfaces, and methodologies to ensure total system integration and mission performance.
• Contributing to—and potentially leading— small engineering teams in planning, designing, and implementing large‑scale technical programs while interfacing with senior management and technical leadership.
• Supporting long‑range strategic systems planning under consultative direction.
• Applying advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts to determine and pursue courses of action needed to achieve desired technical outcomes.
• Performing additional responsibilities as required in support of enterprise engineering, modernization, and integration efforts.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly
• DoD Level II Certification
• Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 8 years of experience; 4 additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Master's degree may be considered in place of 2 years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly present technical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments and perform in a lead engineering capacity.
• Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of other engineers.
• Knowledge of system architecture design, requirements analysis, modeling tools, and capability development.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on system quality and mission success.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Master's degree and 6 years of experience
• Experience identifying new system capabilities, technical enhancements, and concept demonstrators for emerging mission needs.
• Experience supporting system integration, modernization, and lifecycle engineering in enterprise or mission‑critical environments.
• Ability to interface with senior technical leadership and provide expert guidance aligned with a senior‑level engineering role.
  
  
  

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
