BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineer Intern to join our team! In this role you will get to contribute to large-scale engineering projects and gain practical experience in a highway and roadway design. By joining Parsons, you’ll be part of our well-established Summer Internship Program with 170 interns nationwide. Job Description

What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Assist with the geometric design of highways and roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, superelevation diagrams, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans.
- Perform material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and field surveys as required.
- Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to develop and implement project designs.
- Provide technical guidance and input to CAD drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the project team.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.
- Must be enrolled in an Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university have completed typically 1 year of studies in a major Engineering discipline.
