Family Law Paralegal

Parsons Behle & Latimer is seeking a full-time, in-office Family Law Paralegal. The successful candidate may be based in any of the firm’s office locations in Idaho or Utah. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or a paralegal certificate, and 5 years of experience working as a family law paralegal.

Responsibilities

· Manage the collection and preservation of client data

· Assist attorneys with discovery, motion practice, and hearings

· Prepare for and attend trials using the firm’s trial presentation program

· Mentor and support other paralegals and support staff, sharing knowledge to foster efficiency and collaboration

· Support all aspects of the family law practice

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate

· 5 years of family law experience

· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work effectively within a team environment, both in-office and remotely with teams from other offices

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with litigation document management systems

· Comfort using technology-driven timekeeping and billing systems
