What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spotter Driver-Groundman position at Parsec, Inc.?
Employees will train at the entry-level Groundman position for a minimum of two weeks. Groundman are responsible for directing crane operators who are loading and unloading cargo containers from railcar. Groundman are also responsible for preparing railcar for loading and unloading by removing and installing IBC locks. Employees will also be trained in the Hostler Driver position. Drivers perform a variety of driving tasks, including moving containers to and from from the track's and to other areas of the intermodal yard for outside driver pickup we also move chassis and containers around the yard in a safe and efficient manner.
Parsec has immediate openings for full time yard drivers/groundmen in the intermodal industry. Must have valid driver's license. A CDL is NOT required. Must be able to work nights, weekends, & holidays. Company will train. Required pre-employment background screen and drug test. Health insurance, including dental and vision, 401K, and teamster 179 benefits are available after probation is completed.
