Parrot’s Car Wash is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys serving people and leading by example.

We’re less concerned with whether you’ve managed a car wash before and more interested in who you are as a person. We’d rather hire someone with a positive attitude, a great smile, strong character, and a heart for serving others than someone with years of industry experience but no passion for people.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operations of one of our express car washes. You’ll coach and develop team members, create exceptional customer experiences, and help build a culture where people enjoy coming to work. This is a hands-on leadership role. Some days you’ll be leading the team, some days you’ll be helping a customer, and some days you’ll be picking up trash, washing towels, or keeping the property looking its best. Around here, no job is beneath a leader.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and encourage a team of car wash associates while creating a positive, respectful, and accountable culture.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience by making every guest feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure the wash is running safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
• Hire, train, and develop team members while helping them grow both personally and professionally.
• Help create labor schedules that meet business needs while supporting a healthy team environment.
• Drive unlimited membership sales by coaching the team to educate customers instead of using high-pressure sales tactics.
• Ensure wash quality, tunnel operations, vacuums, and the overall appearance of the site consistently exceed customer expectations.
• Perform routine site inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Manage inventory of chemicals, supplies, and operational materials.
• Maintain performance metrics and ensure company policies and safety standards are followed.

Leadership experience is required. Experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, automotive, or the car wash industry is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person.

Mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required.

You should be comfortable working outdoors, staying active throughout the day, and working weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Hourly pay plus commission opportunities

Schedule: Approximately 40–45 hours per week with flexibility to build your schedule around business needs.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
