For over 44 years, a leading Southern California Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) company, whose services include design engineering, PCB assembly, electro-mechanical assembly and systems integration has been providing manufacturing services to the industrial, medical, aerospace, and automotive markets. The Company has an excellent Receiving Inspection Inspector opportunity due to exceptional growth over the past two years.Responsibilities:· Perform accurate reports on dimensional, mechanical, and visual inspection of mechanical components and sub-assemblies’.· Produce First Article Inspection Reports for incoming materials using internal FAI forms or AS9102 forms.Requirements:· Must have experience with incoming or in-process inspection processes· Good communication skills· Able to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages, and etc.· Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)· Experience in generating First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102 a plus)· Understanding of machining, metal forming and finishing processes· Able to competently read and interpret mechanical drawings· Familiar with PCB board inspection is a plusNote: This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
