What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dining Server position at Paros Leawood?
Paros, an upscale Greek & Mediterranean restaurant located in Mission Farms, Leawood is looking for a seasoned server to join our team. We offer competitive pay ($1,000-$2,000 weekly)
The wait staff is responsible for each guests experience. The wait staff guides the customers through their dining experience at Paros from the moment they enter. The wait staff is responsible for ordering the food and drinks, checking in, presenting the bill, and everything in between.
Essential Functions
- Provide superior customer service to our guests.
- Assist in food and beverage selection, presenting menu and answering guest questions regarding menu, cuisine and beverages.
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen identifying special requests and any dietary restrictions.
- Maintain open communication with all team members.
- Maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing beverages, utensils, and ensuring guest’s requests or issues are handling promptly and courteously.
- Process guest bills efficiently and correctly.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays
Required Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years previous server experience in restaurant/hospitality/entertainment venue
- Superb customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solver and team player
- Must have knowledge of food & beverage preparation and service
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull food trays, carts, chairs and tables up to 40 lbs without reasonable accommodation
- Positive attitude and team player
- Flexible availability preferred
- Availability to work weekends or evenings
- Neat, well-groomed appearance
Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
