Position: POS Tester

Client wants the consultant to work 100% onsite from Seattle, WA Office from Day 1
Job Description / Skills:
- Design, build, and scale automation frameworks for POS applications, covering UI, API, services, and critical E2E store workflows.
- Drive CI/CDintegrated automation, enabling build verification, smoke, sanity, and regression testing with fast, actionable feedback.
- Lead riskbased test strategy, identifying optimal candidates for automation vs manual testing while balancing speed and reliability.
- Validate POS systems across store devices, peripherals, payments, loyalty, and thirdparty integrations at scale.
- Support pilot, regional, and national store rollouts, ensuring compatibility across OS, hardware, and configurations.
- Enable release readiness and production quality, supporting Go/NoGo decisions, defect triage, and postdeployment validation.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, QA, Product, and Store Ops, mentoring teams and promoting qualityengineering best practices
- Automation Tools: Playwright/Cypress/Selenium/Or Other
