Job Title: AI Agent Engineer / AWS Bedrock & SDLC Automation
Location: Seattle, WA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Rate: $80-$83/hr
Client wants the consultant to work 100% onsite from Seattle, WA office from Day 1
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents using AWS Bedrock, including multi-agent orchestration patterns and tool integrations.
- Identify high-impact SDLC bottlenecks and deploy agents to automate planning, coding, testing, review, and deployment workflows.
- Define and mature an Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC): prompt engineering, evaluation, versioning, and monitoring standards.
- Integrate agents with developer tooling (CI/CD, ticketing, code repositories, observability platforms).
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather requirements and iterate on agent capabilities.
- Establish guardrails, safety checks, and cost controls for production agent deployments.
- Document architectures, agent behaviors, and operational runbooks; contribute to internal AI best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of software engineering experience; proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock (Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails) or equivalent LLM orchestration frameworks.
- Solid understanding of SDLC practices: CI/CD, code review workflows, testing strategies, and DevOps tooling.
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and LLM evaluation methodologies.
- Familiarity with AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, S3, CloudWatch, IAM.
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI) or AWS Bedrock multi-agent orchestration.
Nice to Have
- Background in platform or developer experience engineering.
- Contributions to internal AI tooling, developer productivity, or MLOps pipelines.
