Description
Food service supervisors supervise and direct food service managers and employees to ensure smooth operation of assigned food service establishments.
Duties:
Must be 21 years of age
Normal work week is Monday-Friday
Must be available for emergency calls including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Corporate Salary Position - Paid Bi-Weekly
Minimum 50 hours per week required
Company Vehicle is provided
Company Fleet Fuel Card is provided for work related fuel purchases
Company credit card provided for approved company related purchases
Must pass a drug test, background check and have acceptable MVR
Description
Food service supervisors supervise and direct food service managers and employees to ensure smooth operation of assigned food service establishments.
Duties:
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Ensure all staff has been trained on job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
- Review records of stock, repairs, sales and waste.
- Ensure work schedules meet the demand of the food service establishment and guest needs.
- Ensure procedures and budgets are being set and followed.
- Train location managers on how to perform cost food inventory, properly manage and account for waste, investigate losses in a timely manner and how to accurately order supplies.
- Train and direct managers to lead by example to meet daily expectations in cash control, cleanliness, organization, food preparation and inventory control.
- Ensure managers have locations properly staffed and assist with interviews and hiring duties when needed.
- Ensure we are using the proper portion control, packaging and labeling for all food products.
- Ensure food service establishments provide a high standard of guest satisfaction through prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service.
- Ensure food service establishments maintain an atmosphere which is consistent with company standards of professionalism, image and total quality guest service.
- Ensure managers comply, train and direct all employees to meet daily expectations with state, local and federal laws and regulations of the governing health department.
- Set goals for management to encourage long term growth and promote career opportunities with the company.
- Other duties set by the company to ensure locations are operating successfully.
