Parman Tractor & Equipment is looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Nashville team. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers needing equipment repairs and service, helping coordinate repairs, communicating updates, and delivering TOCS - Totally Outrageous Customer Service.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and answer incoming calls.
- Schedule shop and field service repairs.
- Inspect incoming equipment and gather repair details.
- Communicate repair status, timelines, and completion updates.
- Coordinate with technicians, shop leadership, and customers.
- Assist with warranty claims and service documentation.
- Prepare accurate repair summaries and customer invoices.
- Process payments and maintain service records
What You'll Bring
- 1 year of customer service experience; preferably in heavy equipment, agriculture equipment, automotive, fleet maintenance, or a related service environment.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to understand basic equipment systems and repair terminology.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple service requests and prioritize work.
- Proficient with computers; service/work-order management software experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, squat, and climb on/off equipment.
- Pass a post-offer Physical Abilities Test.
