What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner position at Parma City School District?
Must have an application on file with the Parma Civil Service Commission
Reports to: Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds
Salary: $14.50 starting hourly rate
Work Schedule: 8.0 hours per day, Monday - Friday, 52 weeks per year, second shift during the school year, first shift during the summer.
Qualifications:
Prior cleaning experience helpful
Physical ability to perform required work.
Ability to lift and carry medium-heavy weight objects
Ability to bend, sit, and stand for long periods of time
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning products
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
Ability to comply with schedules providing for regular cleaning of all facilities
Show good judgment and knows when to ask for directions
Maintain good attendance
