What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Sales/Project Manager position at Parm's Landscape Management, Inc.?
Position Overview
As our Landscape Sales & Project Manager, you will own the full life cycle of residential and commercial landscape projects—from first client meeting through final walkthrough. Your blend of sales skill, project-management discipline, and crew leadership will drive revenue growth and ensure an exceptional client experience on every job.
Sales & Estimating
- Meet on-site with prospects to understand needs and vision
- Create detailed electronic estimates on a company-provided tablet
- Send/adjust proposals within 48 hours and follow up to close the deal
Project Planning
- Develop work orders, timelines, and budgets once proposals are accepted
- Coordinate materials (plant stock, hardscape, soil, mulch, irrigation parts, etc.) so crews are never waiting—but inventory isn’t overstocked
Field Management
- Schedule and supervise crews during landscape installs and enhancement projects
- Jump in hands-on when needed to keep quality, safety, and timelines on track
Team Leadership
- Set daily start times and crew assignments
- Work directly with Crew Leaders providing clear instruction and expectations for each project
- 5 years of landscape construction/lawn establishment experience; 2 years in sales or project management
- Sound knowledge of horticulture, lawn establishment, hardscape installation, drainage/grading
- Comfortable operating skid steers, loaders, and other landscape equipment
- Strong computer skills (estimating, scheduling, and reporting software—training provided)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Positive attitude, high level of initiative and awareness, detail focused, self starter, owner mentality, safety mindset, and a drive to lead by example
