Parlor Doughnuts Regional/Area Manager
Reports To: Ownership Group
The Regional Manager is a leader who exemplifies Parlor values and upholds standards and policies. The Regional Manager is responsible for hiring/developing staff, managing day-to- day operations, establishing a productive and efficient work atmosphere, and meeting financial/operational targets. To be successful in this role, the Regional Manager should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping other people develop and be productive, while ensuring shop profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cultivate Parlor’s mission and values
- Building a team, implementing given systems, and delegating responsibilities.
- Working at least 30 hours/week in the various departments (in the schedule).
- 10 hours at home in admin work (scheduling, onboarding, answering emails. Also handling donation, wedding, and large order inquiries.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure excellence, cleanliness, and quality.
- Serve as a point of contact with corporate staff and maintain lines of communication.
- Hire staff and ensure training/development in accord with Parlor standards, including:
- Ensuring all employment-related papers/forms are completed on a timely basis.
- Set work schedules and verify timecards.
- Implement and uphold necessary strike system
- Safeguard assets and ensure cash deposits are made in a timely fashion.
- Note, record, and deposit cash weekly to the bank.
- Upkeep spreadsheet noting all amounts of deposits.
- Ensure adequate change is in the safe and available for managers to get as needed.
- Work to reduce expenses, enhance productivity, and maximize profitability.
- Manage shops to meet goals/targets for staffing, cost of goods sold, and waste.
- Have an extensive knowledge of every area within the business, including:
- Certified in all areas of the shop
- Serve Safe Manager Certified
- Ensure staff follows all policies/procedures as well as health & safety regulations.
- Provide solutions to issues and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Order/purchase supplies needed from approved vendors.
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
- Planning for changes in seasons, levels of business, etc (ie. Spring Break, school out of session, slow season in Jan. & Feb.)

- In contact with national reps and vendors
- Ensure orders from vendors (manifests) are accurately fulfilled and on the truck. 19. Equipment upkeep and maintenance
- Monitor equipment cleanliness and enforce routinely cleanings through shop managers
- If equipment is malfunctioning, researching manuals and attempting to fix in house. If issue is not fixed, action is taken through professional attention
- Biweekly deep clean of ovens, biweekly filtering doughnut grease, once a month fully changing grease out

Education and Experience
- Practical experience in various food service positions.
- Must obtain/maintain ServSafe® Manager or State certification.
- Knowledge/training/certification in kitchen emergencies (First Aid, CPR, Fires).
- Customer service experience.
- Management experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
