Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of cafe inspired beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Toast to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about food and beverages, and provide excellent customer service
- Follow proper food handling protocols during beverage preparation and food service to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service
- Ability to multi-task and cross train!
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred; café experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast and Square for retail transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer service
- Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, or coffee industry roles is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
