What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-8 School Teacher position at Parkwood Weekday Early Education Center?

Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand and support the philosophy and goals of Parkwood
- Integrate Christian principles into the classroom every day
- Utilize the school-provided curriculum and lesson plans to perform a variety of activities that ensures age-appropriate learning
- Ability to work well with elementary school students both in group settings and one-on-one, depending on the needs of each student and on the subject matter
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Positively communicate with parents/guardians
- Work cooperatively with other educators and support staff
- Follow policies and procedures set by the employer
- Ability to follow through additional tasks, as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 1 years of educational/teaching experience (preferred)
