Valet Lead Supervisor
Position Summary
As the Valet Lead Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team and effectively running each shift to ensure a great experience for all customers parking/ visiting your location. Maintain positive customer and client interactions while maintaining an agreeable, helpful attitude, while also managing the scheduling and other administrative duties for the location.
Schedule
Parkwell is searching for a full time Valet Lead Supervisor. Shifts are 8-10 hours long and can include mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
Position Requirements
· Must be 20 years old
· Must be able to run as required by business demand
· Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift
· Successful completion of a criminal and motor vehicle background check
· Valid Driver’s License
Customer and Client Service Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead all aspects of the valet operation including scheduling the team
· Greet every customer you encounter with warm and friendly greeting
· Be able to anticipate guests needs and offer to assistance every/any customer in the service zone
· Motivate and lead staff in promoting teamwork and a customer service environment
· Ensure team members deliver top notch experiences to any and all guests
· Thoroughly and efficiently explain the valet process to any new hires
· Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every customer – learn the names and key people at each site (property managers, engineers, janitorial, security, etc)
· Professionally and thoughtfully address guest needs, including service failures
· Report immediately to management any issues related to customer or client experience.
· Must be able to accurately verify, collect, and record revenue
Safety and Security Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead and direct the team to safely park and retrieve guest cars in an efficient manner.
· Coach and train team members on Parkwell safety procedures
· Abides by all Parkwell safety standards and training of standards to team members
· Secure keys in locked podium/key box
· Verifies ownership of vehicles – keys for claim check
· Be able to perform and stay organized under stress
· Maintain a high level of integrity in regard to guest’s vehicles and personal possessions
· Knows how to appropriately initiate the claims process for guests
· Reports all incidents immediately to supervisor or manager
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
· You will be asked from time to time to perform other duties not listed in this description. The expectation is that you are flexible and open-minded to these assignments.
Qualifications:
- Previous valet, parking, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide direction, coaching, and constructive feedback to team members
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems independently
- Professional demeanor with strong customer and client service skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn and utilize scheduling, parking, and operational systems
- Ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily revenue reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to learn and consistently enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Salary : $21 - $22
