Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, located in Cary, NC. The technologist will be responsible for conducting sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders, maintaining and calibrating equipment, monitoring patients during sleep studies, and recording observations. Additionally, the technologist will provide patient care by explaining procedures, positioning patients for sleep studies, and ensuring comfort. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with medical professionals to analyze data and develop treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Polysomnography and working knowledge of Sleep Disorders
- Experience in Sleep Medicine and Respiratory Therapy
- Excellent observational and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certified or licensed in polysomnography
- CPR certification and experience in patient care
