Essential Job Functions
Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager and supervisors, this position supports the office and administrative needs of the Maintenance and Environmental Services departments; handles significant volume of emergency and repair calls daily, technician/craftsperson dispatching, and tracks work orders; generates financial documents involved in procuring goods and services from vendors; processes invoices for payment using district purchase order systems; and performs other budget, accounting, and secretarial functions involving word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; responsible for tracking insurance claims related to repair work. Perform additional work-related duties as requested by the Director of Facilities and other senior management staff. May require occasional overtime work.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age and a high school graduate
- Demonstrate excellent job performance and attendance
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in an office environment
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Self-motivated and able to assume full ownership responsibility
- Able to prioritize duties in a changing environment and meet critical deadlines
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to relate to a diverse workforce, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Proficient in the use of office equipment and machinery
- Work in a supportive manner with building administration and staff
- Computer literate and familiar with asset tracking, spreadsheets, document management, and maintenance software (prefer FMX, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Interneer, and MUNIS)
- Strong orientation to office management; must possess a strong interest in a teamwork approach
- Function effectively in a multi-tasking, deadline-oriented environment
- Familiar with schools, school administrators, support functions, and district policies and procedures; able to work overtime if needed
