Job Summary
Apply in person during hours 7-3. Full time or part time, day shifts. We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly, allowing our culinary team to focus on food preparation and service. This position is essential in providing a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work.
- Help with catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and returning dishes to the kitchen as needed.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods.
Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.
