Dog Boarding/Kennel Assistant : Parkway Pet Lodge is the largest Dog Boarding, Grooming, and Training facility in Pittsburgh. This is a family-owned business with a friendly atmosphere.
*Shift Availability Requirements*
We are open 365 days a year including all major holidays. Seeking assistance Monday through Friday and weekends. Must be able to safely handle dogs up to 100lbs.
8AM to 12PM
8AM to 2:30PM
8AM to 4:30PM
* Qualifications *
- Ideally 1-3 years minimum of working in a kennel or boarding facility
- Experience with safely handling dogs up to 100lbs or more
- Competent in reading dog's body language and health
- Capable of lifting up to 40lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Positive or optimistic attitude
- High School Diploma or Bachelors Degree
- Weekend availability
* Job Duties *
- Cleaning and providing proper care for pets
- Observing and reporting changes in a dog's behavior or health
- Handling and taking dogs out for playtimes and walks
- Setting up food and feeding pets
- Experience is not mandatory - training is provided
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
