What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN or RN position at Parkway Center?
We are currently seeking a 2nd shift (3 pm - 11 pm) and a 3rd shift (11pm - 7am) LPN or RN to join our team.
Duties include:
Executes all physician orders relating to direct resident care.
Manages medication regimen of each resident by: noting physician orders; ordering, administering, and documenting administration of medications and treatments as prescribed. Assess on-going response to medications/treatments and notifies physician of effectiveness or adverse reactions as indicated. Verifies that each medication correlates with diagnosis and recommended lab studies according to medication regimen.
Supervises non-licensed nursing staff in carrying out resident care assignments.
Assists with all aspects of resident care, including lifting and transferring as indicated.
Participates in on-going scheduled in-service and educational programs.
Orders nursing supplies and resident care items as needed.
Documents assessments, observations, pertinent findings, change in resident status, incidents, physician consultations, family and resident conferences, and resident responses to plan of care. Contributes to the ongoing review and revision of each individual resident care plan.
