Night Shift Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attendant to join our dynamic team! Answer Calls from Elderly Residents and help as needed.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, lobbies, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
• Carry out floor care activities including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to keep flooring in pristine condition.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces are tidy and well-maintained.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment.
• Participate in industrial cleaning tasks when required, handling specialized cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas such as walkways and entrances to promote safety and curb appeal.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Answer Call Lights and help Elderly Residents as needed.

Requirements

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures is highly advantageous.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, or polishing is desirable.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety standards.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.
