Job Summary
- Understand who our customers are and what our customers expect of us.
- Be the first to respond to any customer request or need.
- Support other members of the work team in meeting customer needs.
- Be accountable for the technical and behavioral competencies of the job.
- Performs scheduling of all procedures for Radiology, Cardiology, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy, EEG, Respiratory, Sleep Lab, Preadmissions, Special Procedures, and Same Day Surgery. Completes pre-registration at the point of scheduling for all procedures.
Education
High graduate or equivalent. Post-secondary education preferred.
Experience
The following are required:
- Demonstrated computer skills and data entry experience
- Medical terminology required (within 6 months of hire, transfer, or promotion).
Experience in hospital admissions or scheduling of hospital ambulatory services required.
Required work experience may be substituted with an Associates or Bachelors degree in the areas of Healthcare Administration, Health Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or Nursing.
If the job requires driving for Parkview, the employee must have a current Colorado drivers license, may need to be 21, and may need to submit proof of insurance coverage.
